You Can Do Hard Things (Even When You Forget That You Can)
There’s this weird little space we land in right before something hard.
You know the one—where your stomach flips, your chest tightens, and your brain starts offering every excuse in the book:
“Maybe later.”
“What if I mess it up?”
“This probably isn’t that important anyway…”
Yeah, that moment.
But here’s the truth, friend:
You’ve done hard things before.
You’ve walked through fire and didn’t even realize how fierce that made you.
You’ve held it together when your heart was breaking.
You’ve shown up for people who never did the same for you.
You’ve picked yourself up off the bathroom floor (more than once, let’s be honest), wiped your tears, and got back to living.
And somewhere along the way… you forgot how strong you really are.
Because when we’re in survival mode, we’re not tallying wins—we’re just trying to make it.
But I want to remind you of something:
You were never weak. You were exhausted. And still—you showed up.
You can do the hard thing.
The phone call.
The boundary.
The truth-telling.
The letting go.
The finally letting yourself rest and feel safe.
You are capable. Even when you feel shaky.
Even when your confidence is whispering instead of roaring.
Even when your inner critic is louder than your intuition.
Especially then.
Because strength doesn’t always look like boldness.
Sometimes it looks like baby steps and wobbly knees.
Sometimes it’s saying, “I don’t know what I’m doing, but I know I don’t want to stay stuck anymore.”
Here’s What I Know About You
You’re tender-hearted and tenacious.
You care deeply, probably more than you let on.
And I know—life has been a lot lately.
But you’re still here. That matters.
That’s proof that there’s more healing, more joy, more YOU on the other side of this hard thing.
Let’s Take One Brave Step Together
If you’re feeling this deep in your soul right now, I want to gently challenge you:
🌿 Pick one small step. Write it down. Whisper it out loud. Pray about it.
Or send me a message. Seriously—tell me what brave thing you’re working on. I’ll be your cheerleader and your reminder that you're not doing this alone.
You were made for this.
You can do hard things.
And I believe in you—even on the days you forget how to believe in yourself.
