Rainy Wednesdays and Accidental Pajama Parades
Woke up this morning to the sound of rain tap dancing on my window. You know the kind—soft enough to soothe, loud enough to make you consider skipping real pants for the day.
(Spoiler: I did.)
There’s just something about a rainy Wednesday that feels like a permission slip from the universe to slow down and smile at the silly stuff.
Like drinking your coffee extra slow.
Like realizing your socks don’t match and deciding that’s fashion now.
Like catching your reflection and thinking, “Honestly? Bedhead is kind of working for me today.”
Today I let the rain be my reminder:
Joy doesn’t always show up in fireworks.
Sometimes it shows up as a hot cup of coffee warming your hands, an extra hug, or laughing at your dog because he refuses to go outside without his raincoat. (He has standards.)
I answered emails with coffee in one hand and a heart full of gratitude in the other.
And I’m calling that balance.
So if your day’s a little soggy or sideways—here’s your nudge to let it be.
Let it be simple.
Let it be sweet.
Let it be yours.
Because even on the drippiest of days, there’s still magic in the mess.
